Update: The summer newsletter for Victoria Park Health Centre has been released, check it out by clicking this link: Summer 2016 Newsletter

All our Patients have a named GP who is responsible for their overall care at the practice. We listen when Patients make us aware of their preference as to which GP that is. If you are registering as a new patient you will see an option to choose, you will also receive a text message giving you the GP’s name, alternatively you can contact the practice if you wish to know who this is.

Test Results

blood_takingIf a test result is normal we do not contact you. If a test result is abnormal you will be contacted by letter or text message to come for a further test or to see the doctor.

If you want to ask about a blood test or other test result, please telephone the health centre between 15:00 – 16:30 and be sure to specify which tests you want to know the results of. Please allow at least one full week from the day the test is taken before calling to see if the result is OK or if you need to see a doctor.

Please note that we do have a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection. In this respect we will only give out results to the person they relate to unless that person has given prior permission for their release or if they are not capable of understanding them.
